About
Shalom, my name is Noa Amalia Arazi, and I converted to Judaism.
My conversion journey was deeply personal and challenging, filled with moments of introspection and growth.
I was born to an Israeli-Jewish father and a French ex-Catholic mother. My mother, who always felt a strong connection to Israel, came to volunteer in the Kibbutz, and later converted to Judaism through a Reform process.
However, her conversion wasn’t recognized by the Chief Rabbinate, which affected my religious status. To fully embrace my Jewish identity, I decided to undergo an Orthodox conversion. During my military service, I completed the conversion process through the “Nativ” program, which was a transformative and empowering experience. The immersion in the mikvah was especially meaningful, marking a pivotal moment in my connection to Judaism.
After my conversion, I realized how important it is for converts to have support and guidance. That’s why I founded “New Choose New Jews” – a community dedicated to offering resources, information, and support for those on their conversion journey. I share my personal experiences on social media, provide practical advice, and help connect converts with rabbis from various Jewish streams across the world.
I aim to help converts feel supported, understood, and connected to the Jewish world. I’m here to provide guidance and a space for anyone with a Jewish soul who wishes to embrace their Jewish identity.
That is why I offer 1:1 consultation – for everyone who seeks to start their Jewish journey but is unsure how.
